Cavalry FC’s Marco Carducci has been named the Canadian Premier League’s Allstate Goalkeeper of the Month for July 2024. The 27-year-old made 13 saves during the month, helping his side pick up road victories against Valour and Vancouver FC. He also kept clean sheets in both of those wins, and now has five on the season — tied with Pacific FC’s Emil Gazdov for the league lead. Carducci is the fourth different goalkeeper to earn the monthly award this season, with Forge’s Chris Kalongo in April, Vancouver FC’s Callum Irving in May and York United’s Thomas Vincensini in June, also being honoured.
