What Is Atleti Equal Access?

It is Atlético Ottawa's initiative to promote accessibility and inclusion in the Ottawa soccer community by addressing barriers to access, especially those faced by underrepresented groups.

PURPOSE

To promote accessibility and inclusion in Ottawa's soccer community by addressing barriers, especially those faced by underrepresented groups. We aim to provide affordable access to soccer culture and professional soccer matches, and we support programs that increase access to enjoying and playing this wonderful sport.

OBJECTIVES

Increase participation of underrepresented groups in the sport, provide affordable access to matches and soccer events, promote diversity and inclusion within the soccer community, and create opportunities for knowledge and skill development.

ACCESS

Ensuring that everyone has an equal chance to participate and enjoy the sport. We aim to remove financial, cultural, and physical barriers so Ottawa soccer becomes truly accessible to all. A strong sense of community and connection through soccer, be it by playing, watching, or supporting.
