As Atleti continue to push towards a regular season title the team will welcome and recognize the city’s growing community of new Canadians in support of Active Newcomer Youth Ottawa (ANYO).

Atlético close out a three game homestand taking on Pacific FC on Saturday, September 6 (KO 7PM). The stakes are high as Atleti remains in hot pursuit of league leaders Forge FC with the season soon reaching its close. Expect a joyfully vibrant atmosphere as Atleti’s embracing and diverse supporters come together to cheer on local Canadian soccer. The club is thrilled to continue supporting local charity ANYO as they provide crucial programming and opportunities for newcomers and immigrant children with an emphasis on sport and accessibility.

  • ANYO provides free-to-access events – with a focus on soccer - for newcomers and youth helping them make Ottawa a home and providing a sense of mental well-being through community.

  • ANYO have offered EAFC game nights featuring visits from Atleti players as well as youth soccer practices and programs.

  • ANYO’s summer soccer league brings teams from all over Ottawa together in the spirit of competition and community with the final match being played at TD Place.

  • On Saturday, August 30th, ANYO and Atlético Ottawa will be hosting a joint combine. This initiative, operated by Director of Soccer Development Drew Beckie, seeks to identify top talent in the region.
