With the Canadian Premier League regular season reaching its thrilling conclusion, there is no slowing down for Atlético Ottawa. This match presented by CAA is in support of local non-profit Odawa Native Friendship Centre (ONFC).
After hosting the league leaders Forge FC last week, Atleti welcome last year’s North Star Cup winners, Cavalry FC for a final encounter of the season on Saturday, September 27 (KO 1PM, live OneSoccer & TSN). It’s a two-horse race at the top of the table and every point matters. There are only two home games left at TD Place this regular season. Stay locked in before playoffs begin. GET TICKETS.
The Canadian Premier League will recognize Truth and Reconciliation Day as part of its annual league-wide initiative, with Atleti supporting ONFC as they celebrate 50 years of programming and services offered to the Indigenous community within the region. ONFC will also be selling “Every Child Matters” t-shirts with 100% of profits going back to their organization. The game will also feature a pre-match pitch blessing, and a ceremonial gift exchange as the club look to highlight and celebrate indigenous culture.
