All you need to know about our match vs York United this Sunday
Atlético Ottawa leads the Canadian Premier League (CPL) standing, with the most goals scored in the league while continuing to prioritise the development of young Canadian talents. It’s the 5th Annual Soccer For Everyone Match, presented by VW, and we are supporting six local 2SLBTQ+ organizations who you can meet on the concourse.
TD Place plays host to another testy(?) Battle of Ontario on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 4pm) as York United travels to the nation’s capital for the final time this season. Form goes out of the window when these two rivals clash. Bad blood needs to be settled. You won’t want to miss this. GET TICKETS HERE.
Goalkeeper and captain Nathan Ingham will be commemorated pre-match as the skipper became Atleti’s record appearance holder last weekend with his 93rd appearance for the red and white (all competitions). The record was previously held by midfielder Ollie Bassett, and Ingham has etched his name into the record books in Ottawa.
Soccer For Everyone celebrates diversity and inclusivity throughout the Beautiful Game. On Sunday you can meet organizations such as Capital Pride, Capital Rainbow Refuge, MAX Ottawa, Ten Oaks Project, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Ottawa as well as newly formed community soccer group – Ottawa Pride FC.
Use the code PRIDEFC on Ticketmaster to donate $5 towards support and inclusive space for 2SLGBTQ+ members to play soccer.
