After Atlético Ottawa’s match against Pacific FC on July 26th, goalkeeper Nate Ingham has now become Atlético Ottawa’s all-time appearance leader in all competitions.
Ingham surpasses former Ottawa midfielder Ollie Bassett with his 93rd appearance and additionally holds the record for most CPL games played for Atlético Ottawa with 88 appearances. Ingham arrived in the nation’s capital in 2022, signing with the club after having spent three seasons with York United prior to his arrival as well as a stint with former NASL side Edmonton FC.
In his first season with the club, he helped lift Ottawa to their first ever play-off appearance and a regular season title collecting nine clean sheets. He was subsequently nominated for the CPL goalkeeper of the year award that season. Ingham has remained one of Atlético Ottawa’s most consistent performers, soon dubbed “All-State Nate” as he continued to rack up save-of-the-match awards.
In this season, his fourth with the club, Ingham is leading a youthful Atleti backline, the club currently sits atop the CPL standings.
