Atlético Ottawa is celebrating Thanksgiving Sunday with a massive clash in the penultimate match of the 2025 Canadian Premier League regular season – and we’re looking to inspire the next generation of players.
It’s our final home match of the regular season and, with playoffs around the corner, we remain in the hunt for the CPL Shield. In the spirit of Thanksgiving we are looking to support those in need.
In addition to $1 of every ticket purchased tackling food insecurity, we have teamed up with Inspire the Great (ITG) Canada to collect used soccer equipment for children who can’t afford it in the Ottawa area.
It’s time to clear out the basement and get rid of those cleats that saw months of summer action (and won’t fit come next year). Bring your soccer balls, shin pads, cleats and soccer shoes of all kinds – together we can inspire the next generation.
Your donations can be dropped off at the ITG Canada tent at Gate 1, and they will be delivering them to children attending high-need schools throughout our community.
