Wanderers U18 Development Team Open Trials
The Halifax Wanderers Football Club is pleased to launch its U18 Development Team in Fall 2025. After three seasons of establishing a U21 program, the U18 Development Team will be another key step in the club’s local player pathway to its Canadian Premier League first team.
Open trials will be held in Halifax in September, consisting of high-performance training sessions led by the Wanderers' first-team coaching staff. Players from the open trials will be invited to additional sessions in October.
Top performers will be selected to join the U18 Development Team starting in November 2025. In preparation for the 2026 Season, the U18 squad will train regularly in the Wanderers professional club environment and attend a series of showcases outside the region between December and March. The Wanderers U18 Development team intends to compete in the Nova Scotia Premier Men’s Division beginning in 2026.

All official emails from Halifax Wanderers Football Club regarding the tryouts will come from addresses ending in @hfxwanderersfc.ca. The club does not use public domains such as @gmail, @hotmail, or @outlook for official communications.
Halifax Wanderers Football Club will never ask for money on Zelle, PayPal, Cash App etc. All Wanderers Open Trial registration fees are hosted via the club’s website and Universe platform.
