For three centuries, Wanderers Grounds has been THE outdoor gathering place for the community. Aligned with our combined mission to make our community stronger, the time has come for a permanent, multi-use stadium on the Wanderers Grounds that would become Halifax’s premier community outdoor sports and entertainment venue.
Our proposal is for HRM to construct a permanent, community-use stadium on the Wanderers Grounds for use by local sports teams and outdoor events. The Halifax Wanderers Football Club is committed to make a significant financial contribution to be the anchor tenant of this facility.
