Grounds

Welcome to the Wanderers Grounds

A historic stadium located in the heart of Halifax

Established in the 1800s, The Wanderers Grounds is a historic sports stadium located just steps from Halifax's vibrant downtown. For parts of three centuries, Nova Scotians have gathered around the same field the Wanderers now play on to celebrate sport and community.

In advance of the club's first season in 2019, the Wanderers installed a 'pop-up' stadium on the Wanderers Grounds, comprised of temporary spectator bleachers and buildings constructed from repurposed shipping containers. In 2025, the Wanderers were able to install additional seating on both sets of grandstands, expanding the stadium's capacity to 7,244.

The Grounds is within walking distance to hundreds of local businesses and accessible by numerous transit options and bicycle routes. Food and drink are provided on match day from various food trucks and bar tents located throughout the stadium. A station to fill reusable water bottles is located next to the main washroom facilities.
