The following are playoff scenarios for Matchweek 27 of the Canadian Premier League (CPL), to be contested between Thursday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 12.
Forge FC will clinch the #1 playoff seed and the CPL Shield if:
- Forge FC beat Cavalry FC on Friday, Oct. 10 AND Atlético Ottawa draw or lose against Vancouver FC on Sunday, Oct. 12.
- Forge FC draw against Cavalry FC on Friday, Oct. 10 AND Atlético Ottawa lose against Vancouver FC on Sunday, Oct. 12.
Cavalry FC will clinch the #3 playoff seed if:
- Cavalry FC beat Forge FC on Friday, Oct. 10 AND York United FC draw or lose against Pacific FC on Thursday, Oct. 9.
- Cavalry FC draw against Forge FC on Friday, Oct. 10 AND Halifax Wanderers FC draw or lose against Valour FC on Saturday, Oct. 11 AND York United FC lose against Pacific FC on Thursday, Oct. 9.
Cavalry FC will clinch a top 4 playoff berth if:
- Cavalry FC beat Forge FC on Friday, Oct. 10.
- Cavalry FC draw against Forge FC AND Halifax Wanderers FC draw or lose against Valour FC on Saturday, Oct. 11 OR York United FC lose against Pacific FC on Thursday, Oct. 9.
- Cavalry FC lose against Forge FC on Friday, Oct. 10 AND Halifax Wanderers FC lose against Valour FC on Saturday, Oct. 11.
York United FC will clinch a top 4 playoff berth if:
- York United FC beat Forge FC on Thursday, Oct. 9 AND Halifax Wanderers FC draw or lose against Valour FC on Saturday, Oct. 11.
The five teams that have qualified for the 2025 CPL Playoffs are now confirmed. With the field set, clubs continue to battle for seeding and the chance to secure home playoff matches, with the postseason to be contested in the same format as was introduced by the League in 2023.
