Tabla scored three goals and added one assist

Atlético Ottawa attacker Ballou Tabla has been named the Canadian Premier League's Player of the Month for September 2025.

Tabla started all four of Atléti's matches during an undefeated month. He scored the match-winner in a 2-0 victory over Pacific FC on September 6 with a lovely effort where he took down a pass over the top from David Rodríguez with a clever touch before rounding Sean Melvin and scoring.

He added an assist in a 1-1 draw in a top-of-the-table clash with Forge FC on September 21 before scoring a brace this past weekend in a 3-0 victory over Cavalry FC.

Tabla was named to the CPL's Gatorade Team of the week for Weeks 22, 24 and 25 during the month. The Canadian international has scored nine goals and added three assists this season.

Tabla becomes the third different Atlético Ottawa player to be given the monthly honour this season, following David Rodríguez (April) and Sam Salter (May). Forge FC duo Dan Nimick (June) and Kyle Bekker (July), and Cavalry's Ali Musse (August) are the other recipients this season.
