The club also revealed its preliminary roster for the Concacaf Champions Cup.

Atlético Ottawa announced Tuesday that defender Brett Levis has retired from professional football.

The 32-year-old native of Regina, Sask. made 12 appearances for Ottawa across 2025 as Atleti were crowned CPL champions.

Prior to signing for Atlético in 2025, Levis played three seasons in the CPL with Valour FC from 2020 to 2022. He had USL Championship stints with FC Tulsa and Detroit City FC, and also spent four years with the Vancouver Whitecaps first team in MLS.

Ottawa also announced Tuesday their preliminary roster for the upcoming Concacaf Champions Cup, which features 18 players. The club can add additional players up to a maximum of 35, until 44 hours prior to each match.

Included in the roster was 22-year-old goalkeeper Roberto Paguaga-Frankovich, who joins on a short-term replacement contract for the Concacaf competition.

He currently plays in U SPORTS and Ontario University Athletics competitions for Carleton University.

Ottawa's Concacaf journey begins against Nashville SC on Feb. 17 at Hamilton Stadium.
