There aren't many places where four-time Canadian Premier League champions Forge FC have struggled to win over the years -- but Halifax is the notable exception.
The Hamilton club travels to the fortress that is the Wanderers Grounds on Saturday to take on the Halifax Wanderers in a battle of two undefeated teams through four match weeks in the 2025 CPL season.
Saturday's contest will be broadcast on TSN4, as well as OneSoccer, with kickoff at 4 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. AT / 1 p.m. PT.
Here are nine key stats ahead of that match:
0.27 -- Just three wins in 11 trips to the Wanderers Grounds is Forge's lowest win percentage at any away venue in the CPL. They have not won in Halifax (0-1-3) since Patrice Gheisar became Halifax manager.
15-9-0 -- The team that has scored the first goal in matches between these two sides has never lost in 24 all-time meetings.
4-0 -- While Forge may not have won often at the Wanderers Grounds, they did hand the Wanderers their worst-ever home loss on May 20, 2022 with a 4-0 victory. David Choinière scored a brace in that match.
5 -- Five penalties have been awarded in the past eight matches between these two clubs.
36 -- No club has scored more goals against the Halifax Wanderers than Forge FC.
650 -- The Halifax Wanderers have played a league-leading 650 forward passes this season.
12 -- The Halifax Wanderers are undefeated in their past 12 matches at the Wanderers Grounds.
3 -- Defender Dan Nimick scored three goals in six matches in this fixture while a member of the Halifax Wanderers. Now with Forge, can he continue his strong strike-rate at the Wanderers Grounds?
2.92 -- Forge striker Brian Wright leads the league in expected goals this season with 2.92.
