Smyrniotis led Forge to four victories, top of the table
Forge FC's Bobby Smyrniotis has been named the Canadian Premier League's Manager of the Month for August 2025.
This past month, Forge took over the top spot in the CPL after a 5-0 win against Valour to begin the month, and followed that up with wins over York, Atlético Ottawa and Vancouver FC.
They also extended their league record unbeaten streak to 20, before suffering their first loss of the campaign on the road against Cavalry FC to end the month.
Smyrniotis is the fifth different manager to be awarded the honour this season, following Halifax's Patrice Gheisar (April), Cavalry's Tommy Wheeldon Jr. (May), Atlético Ottawa's Diego Mejía (June) and York United's Mauro Eustáquio (July).
