Goalkeeper
Ivan Pavela (York United)
The York goalkeeper was brilliant in keeping a clean sheet on Sunday, with several huge saves -- making three in total, including an outstanding diving stop on Sam Salter.
Defenders
Adam Pearlman (Halifax Wanderers)
Pearlman was called into action often on Saturday as Vancouver FC looked to attack down the left flank, but did incredibly well under that pressure. He made three interceptions and ten clearances to help keep another clean sheet for the Wanderers.
Thomas Meilleur-Giguère (Halifax Wanderers)
Even before Meilleur-Giguère scored the lone goal in Halifax's 1-0 victory over Vancouver FC, it had been a defensive masterclass from the central defender. TMG won five of seven duels, including three of four in the air, and made nine clearances.
Dan Nimick (Forge FC)
Nimick demonstrated his wealth of abilities on both sides of the ball against Valour on Sunday. He picked up two assists on their first two goals, and completed 58 of 62 passes, while also winning four of six duels contested.
Mihail Gherasimencov (Cavalry FC)
The Cavalry left-back put in an outstanding shift both defensively and on the ball on Sunday against Pacific. He completed 44 of 51 passes, 23 of which were in the final third, completed two dribbles and won eight of 10 duels.
Midfielders
Alessandro Hojabrpour (Forge FC)
Hojabrpour dictated the game in the centre of the park for the Hamilton club on Sunday. He won possession seven times, while winning five of eight duels.
Kembo Kibato (York United)
It was an incredibly tidy effort from Kibato in the centre of the park against Atlético Ottawa on Sunday. He completed all 47 of his attempted passes, including 10 in the final third, while also completing all three of his dribbles and losing the ball just three times all match.
Nana Ampomah (Forge FC)
Ampomah was once again a key creative spark for Forge in attack, and was rewarded with a goal in the 69th minute. He also completed two dribbles, and won three tackles.
Sergio Camargo (Cavalry FC)
The Cavalry midfielder continued an excellent run of form of late with a lovely assist in a 1-0 victory over Pacific FC on Sunday. He also won possession five times, and completed 15 of 18 passes in the final third.
Ali Musse (Cavalry FC)
Musse scored the lone goal of Cavalry 1-0 victory over Pacific FC with a lovely acrobatic effort to beat Max Anchor. He finished with three shot attempts, two of which were on target, and won three fouls.
