The Vancouver goalkeeper made some critical saves to hand his side a victory in Halifax on Monday, including a big stop on Ryan Telfer late in stoppage time.
Defenders
Rezart Rama (Forge FC)
Rama was excellent on both sides of the ball down the right against Valour on Saturday. He earned an assist, while winning 7 of 11 duels, including four of five in the air.
Frank Sturing (York United)
Make that three straight clean sheets for York United, and three straight Team of the Week appearances for central defender Frank Sturing. Against the league's best attacking team, Sturing played a crucial role in an outstanding defensive performance from the Nine Stripes versus Atlético Ottawa. He finished with three of four duels won, and six clearances.
Aidan O'Connor (Vancouver FC)
The Vancouver central defender put in an outstanding defensive performance against Halifax, winning seven of eight duels, including five of six in the air. He also made three interceptions and an incredible 12 clearances as the Eagles held on for a 2-1 win, and played a role in their opening goal.
Orlando Botello (York United)
The Mexican fullback's play was vital in defending the left flank for York United on Sunday. Botello, in particular, had a strong performance up against one of the league's most dynamic attackers, David Rodríguez. He won five of nine duels, four tackles, and possession seven times.
Midfielders
Kadin Chung (Pacific FC)
Chung put in a brilliant shift against Cavalry on Monday. He completed 23 of 25 passes, played ten crosses, and defensively won eight of nine duels.
Kyle Bekker (Forge FC)
Playing as a holding midfielder on Saturday, Bekker pulled the strings at Hamilton Stadium in a 5-0 win over Valour. He had an unbelievable assist to Nana Ampomah, and played a big role in the buildup to several goals on the night, completing 62 of 66 attempted passes.
Sean Young (Pacific FC)
Off the bench against Cavalry on Monday, Young scored the stoppage-time winner in a massive 1-0 home victory for Pacific FC.
Vasco Fry (Vancouver FC)
Fry's dominance in midfield was crucial to Vancouver's victory on Monday in Halifax. He won 11 of 15 duels, and possession eight times. He also won three tackles and made eight clearances.
Forwards
Nana Ampomah (Forge FC)
Ampomah dominated Saturday's contest against Valour, playing a role in all five goals against the Winnipeg club. The rebounds from shots he took resulted in the first two goals, he scored the third, played a key role in the build-up on the fourth, before assisting on Forge's fifth. He also finished with 10 touches in the box, and eight of 13 duels won.
Mo Babouli (Forge FC)
Babouli scored Forge's second goal in a 5-0 victory over Valour on Saturday, and was dangerous throughout the 90 minutes. He also won possession seven times.
