Marco Carducci (Cavalry FC)
The Cavalry keeper made five saves against the Halifax Wanderers, as he backstopped his side to a 0-0 draw in his sixth clean sheet of the season.
Defenders
Kadin Chung (Pacific FC)
Chung was important on both sides of the ball for Pacific in their derby win over Vancouver, offering a dangerous attacking presence from the right wing-back position. He made two crucial tackles and otherwise provided some good service to his team's forwards.
Kareem Sow (Halifax Wanderers)
As the main distributor in Halifax's back three against Cavalry, Sow did an excellent job moving the ball out of the back. He had a 97.1 per cent passing accuracy, including nine successful passes in the final third.
Sergei Kozlovskiy (Atlético Ottawa)
Kozlovskiy had a team-high 104 touches and 77 completed passes against Valour, winning four out of six duels and also helped set up Ottawa's first goal with an excellent pass into the box to Sam Salter.
Midfielders
Tristan Borges (Forge FC)
The reigning CPL Player of the Year was back to his best on Saturday against York, scoring one and creating two chances with four successful dribbles and seven duels won.
Manny Aparicio (Atlético Ottawa)
Ottawa's midfield engine was excellent in their win over Valour. He made 10 passes in the final third and won six duels, also drawing three fouls.
Alessandro Hojabrpour (Forge FC)
Returning to the starting lineup for the first time in well over a month, Hojabrpour was key to Forge's win over York. His tackle started the play leading up to the first goal, and he led his team with 60 successful passes (96.8 per cent accuracy).
Dario Zanatta (Pacific FC)
Zanatta provided two assists in Pacific's derby win, playing an important creative role on the left wing for the Tridents. His first two helpers of the year came at a key time for the club, in a massive victory over their Vancouver rivals.
Forwards
David Rodríguez (Atlético Ottawa)
Rodríguez was dominant against Valour, scoring once and creating four chances. He had two shots and made three crosses, also drawing four fouls.
Alejandro Díaz (Pacific FC)
The striker re-introduced himself to Pacific fans this week, scoring twice against his former Vancouver FC side to claim top spot as the CPL's all-time leading scorer.
Samuel Salter (Atlético Ottawa)
Salter extended his lead atop the Golden Boot leaderboard with his 12th of the year, and an impressive finish at that. His tally against Valour would ultimately stand as the match-winner.
