Goalkeeper
Nathan Ingham (Atlético Ottawa)
It's not often a keeper gets picked here in a losing effort, but Ingham was excellent for Ottawa against Forge. He made six saves, several of them jaw-dropping, despite the 2-0 defeat.
Defenders
Adam Pearlman (Halifax Wanderers)
Pearlman had a strong all-around game for Halifax against Pacific, assisting on Tiago Coimbra's goal with a good cross and otherwise putting in a good shift at right-back.
Frank Sturing (York United)
Sturing was everywhere for York in their 0-0 draw against Valour FC, working tirelessly to keep the Winnipeg club off the scoresheet. He won a staggering 13 duels, intervening at key moments on multiple occasions to prevent golden scoring opportunities.
Daan Klomp (Cavalry FC)
It would be hard to script a better return to Calgary for Daan Klomp. After re-joining the club earlier this week, Klomp came off the bench against Vancouver FC and quickly reminded the fans what he can do. The Dutch centre-back rose high to get his head on a Max Piepgrass cross in the 97th minute, scoring a last-second winner in a 5-4 thriller.
Marko Jevremović (Forge FC)
Jevremović provided an excellent assist on Forge's second goal and was a threat along the left flank all afternoon against Atlético Ottawa.
Midfielders
Aidan Daniels (Pacific FC)
The Pacific midfielder delivered some heroics against his former club on Saturday, contributing to both of the Tridents' goals after going down 2-0 to the Halifax Wanderers. Daniels made an excellent run through midfield to set up Kadin Chung's goal shortly after they'd conceded, then he scored one of his own from a free-kick to equalize.
Alessandro Hojabrpour (Forge FC)
Hojabrpour is back to the top of his game after returning from injury, winning possession nine times and contesting seven duels, of which he won six. He also had three clearances and generally dictated the flow of play through the middle of the pitch.
Kyle Bekker (Forge FC)
Bekker scored with a fantastic strike from outside the box against Ottawa on Sunday, and also created three chances in a strong attacking performance from the Forge captain.
Forwards
Ali Musse (Cavalry FC)
Musse delivered arguably his best performance of the season on Sunday against Vancouver, with two assists, eight chances created and seven duels won.
Brian Wright (Forge FC)
Wright found himself in a lot of dangerous areas for Forge against Atlético, scoring the second goal with a well-taken finish. He had four total shots and created one chance.
Nicolás Mezquida (Vancouver FC)
Mezquida scored one from the penalty spot and assisted Emrick Fotsing's 95th-minute equalizer for Vancouver, creating two chances in a wildly dramatic contest against Cavalry that ended in heartbreaking defeat.
