Ingham was outstanding in Ottawa's 3-0 win over Cavalry FC on Saturday, saving a penalty and making two other good stops to preserve an impressive clean sheet against a potent attack.
Defenders
Kunle Dada-Luke (Vancouver FC)
The VFC full-back set up Hugo Mbongue's first goal for Vancouver, and he also made three clearances, two interceptions and a recovery while maintaining a 90 per cent passing accuracy in a well-rounded performance against Halifax.
Frank Sturing (York United)
Sturing was key to York's clean-sheet win over Valour, making six clearances and two recoveries, winning two balls in the air, and distributing the ball well out of the back with 93 per cent accuracy.
Dan Nimick (Forge FC)
Nimick was almost flawless yet again for Forge, providing an assist to Hoce Massunda, playing 11 accurate long balls and making two interceptions, also winning three out of four duels.
Marko Jevremović (Forge FC)
Jevremović also picked up an assist for Forge in their win over Pacific, while creating three chances, playing 11 passes into the final third, and finding a target with both of his attempted crosses.
Midfielders
Noah Jensen (Forge FC)
Jensen got into an excellent position to score Forge's second goal against Pacific, and was good on the ball throughout with 92 per cent passing accuracy.
Vasco Fry (Vancouver FC)
Fry did a wonderful job in midfield for Vancouver, making eight passes into the final third and playing six accurate long balls, as well as five clearances, three interceptions and two tackles.
Forwards
Hoce Massunda (Forge FC)
Forge's scoring deluge on Saturday began with Massunda's highlight-reel goal just three minutes in against Pacific. He sat his defender down before unleashing a perfectly-placed shot from distance to give the Hammers an early lead, scoring in back-to-back weeks.
Hugo Mbongue (Vancouver FC)
The young Vancouver striker remained in excellent form, scoring twice in a 3-1 win over the Halifax Wanderers. Mbongue is now up to six CPL goals since joining Vancouver midseason.
Sam Salter (Atlético Ottawa)
Salter extended his Golden Boot lead by scoring his 18th goal of the CPL season, also providing an assist from two chances created against Cavalry. He had five touches in the box and two successful dribbles, also recovering possession four times.
Ballou Tabla (Atlético Ottawa)
Tabla was excellent for Atleti, scoring twice within eight minutes in the second half against Cavalry.
