The former Wanderers forward has been a recent OPL standout with Vaughan, Guelph and Scrosoppi.

Inter Toronto Football Club announced on Wednesday the signing of Canadian forward Tomasz Skublak to a one-year contract guaranteed through the 2026 season.

Skublak, 28, joins Inter Toronto as a proven goalscorer with experience in both the CPL and Ontario Premier League, formerly known as League1 Ontario. A physical and instinctive striker, he brings a strong scoring record, attacking presence and maturity to the club’s forward line.

He previously competed in the Canadian Premier League with the Halifax Wanderers during the league’s inaugural 2019 season, making 25 appearances while recording four goals and two assists. His experience within the CPL provides valuable familiarity with the demands and competitive standards of Canada’s top professional league.

Since then, Skublak has established himself as one of the most prolific forwards in the OPL. Across spells with Vaughan Azzurri, Guelph United and Scrosoppi FC, he has scored 56 goals in 65 matches since 2017, consistently ranking among the league’s most dangerous attacking players.

In 2023, Skublak delivered a standout campaign with Scrosoppi FC, scoring 35 goals in 33 regular-season matches and earning League1 Ontario Men’s Premier Division Most Valuable Player honours. His performances helped drive the club to the top of the standings in consecutive seasons and reinforced his reputation as a consistent and clinical finisher.

“Tomasz is a striker who adds different qualities to our front line,” said head coach Mauro Eustáquio. “He has shown over several seasons that he knows how to score and impact matches. He brings work ethic, hunger and a proven track record of goals in all levels he has played. We believe he can translate that productivity into our environment and with our style of play.”

Known for his strong mentality and disciplined approach, Skublak has balanced his playing career with professional commitments off the pitch, reflecting a level of structure and consistency that aligns with Inter Toronto’s standards.

Skublak now returns to the CPL motivated to prove himself once again at the professional level, adding depth, experience and a proven scoring record to Inter Toronto’s attacking unit ahead of the 2026 campaign.
