Pacific FC announced on Thursday that forward Ronan Kratt and defender Juan Quintana have suffered season-ending ACL injuries.
"The injuries to Ronan and Juan have a significant impact on our squad,” said Pacific FC head coach James Merriman. “These are important players who are part of the Pacific family, and we will miss them greatly on the pitch and around the club. We hope for quick recoveries for them both."
Kratt, 21, joined the Tridents from Werder Bremen II this off-season and was off to a strong start to his time on the Island, scoring a stunning goal in their season opener against Valour FC, as well as against Atlético Ottawa. He is under club option until 2027.
Quintana, also 21, joined the club last season from his native Colombia. He has made 22 appearances for Pacific since signing. Quintana is under club option for the 2026 season.
Both players were injured during the club’s TELUS Canadian Championship match against Vancouver FC on May 5.
