The 2025 TELUS Canadian Championship will be an all-Vancouver showdown, as Vancouver FC of the Canadian Premier League will take on Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps for the Voyageurs' Cup.
The match will be played at the Whitecaps' home BC Place on Wednesday, Oct. 1, with kickoff set for 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. It will be broadcast live nationally on both TSN and OneSoccer.
Vancouver FC booked their place in the final on Thursday night, stunning one of the CPL's title contenders Atlético Ottawa by defeating them 3-2 on aggregate. The Eagles have been on a remarkable run through this year's tournament, having eliminated both Pacific FC and Cavalry FC on penalties before now taking down Ottawa in the semifinal.
The Whitecaps, meanwhile, have knocked out a pair of CPL opponents, beating Valour FC in the quarter-finals before dispatching Forge FC in Tuesday's semi.
The MLS side have won the past three consecutive Canadian Championships and will be looking to become the second team ever to win four in a row.
Meanwhile, a CPL team has never lifted the Voyageurs' Cup; Vancouver FC will therefore aim to be the first.
