The Nine Stripes went undefeated in the CPL during the entire month of July.

York United FC head coach Mauro Eustáquio has been named the Canadian Premier League’s Manager of the Month for July 2025.

In his first season managing the Nine Stripes, Eustaquio has led York to fourth in the league so far. After an up-and-down start to his managerial campaign, since the month of June, Eustaquio and York have had a seven-game unbeaten streak in the CPL, their longest since 2021.

His team has played in high-scoring games, such as a 4-0 win over Vancouver FC, and a 2-2 draw against league leader Forge FC. They have also delivered defensive masterclasses, including a gruelling 1-0 win over Cavalry and last week's 0-0 draw against Atlético Ottawa.

Other Manager of the Month winners this season include: Halifax Wanderers' Patrice Gheisar (April), Cavalry FC head coach Tommy Wheeldon Jr. (May) and Atlético Ottawa head coach Diego Mejia (June).
