Official Contest Rules and Regulations

1. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Employees, representatives, and agents of Pacific Football Club (“Pacific FC”), Destination Greater Victoria, and all other participating partners, as well as their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and persons living in the same household, are not eligible to enter.

3. Contest Period

  • Contest opens on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM PT and closes on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.

  • Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.

4. Prizes

One (1) Grand Prize package is available to be won, valued at approximately $1,500 CAD, including:

  • Delta Hotels Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort: One (1) night stay (subject to availability) plus one (1) $100 LURE Restaurant & Bar gift certificate.

  • Prince of Whales Whale Watching: Two (2) half-day whale watching tours.

  • Malahat SkyWalk: Two (2) admission passes.

  • Pacific Football Club: Two (2) VIP tickets to the Downtown Derby at Royal Athletic Park on Saturday, September 13, 2025, plus two (2) official 2025 Pacific FC jerseys.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, have no cash value, and are non-transferable. Substitutions are not permitted, except at the discretion of the contest organizers.

5. Winner Selection

  • One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

  • To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

    1. Correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question.

    2. Complete and return a declaration and release form confirming eligibility and acceptance of the prize.

Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification, and another entrant will be randomly selected.

6. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the contest period.

7. Release and Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Pacific FC, Destination Greater Victoria, Delta Hotels Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort, Prince of Whales Whale Watching, Malahat SkyWalk, LURE Restaurant & Bar, and their affiliates, employees, and representatives from any and all liability, loss, or damages arising from participation or acceptance of the prize.

8. Publicity

By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and city of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

9. Privacy & Marketing Consent

By entering this contest, each entrant expressly consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by Pacific FC and the partner organizations listed above for the purposes of: (i) administering the contest, (ii) prize fulfillment, and (iii) receiving promotional emails, offers, and updates from Pacific FC and the contest partners.

Consent to receive marketing communications is a condition of entry. Entrants may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in such communications; however, unsubscribing prior to the contest close date will not withdraw the entrant’s contest entry.

10. General Conditions

  • Contest organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest for any reason.

  • All decisions of the contest organizers are final and binding.

  • The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
