The Pacific FC Talent ID Pathway is a local player identification program designed to support young players who show the potential to progress into the Pacific FC Youth program.
Pacific FC Youth competes in the BCSPL (BC Soccer Premier League), the highest level of community youth soccer in British Columbia for players aged U14 - U18.
This pathway allows Pacific FC Youth to work closely with local clubs across the Lower Island Soccer Association to identify and support community players at an early stage.

2013 Born Players (U13)
Identified players in this cohort will form the next Pacific U14 teams (female and male) that will start their BCSPL journey in September 2026
2014 Born Players (U12)
Although this age group only starts in the BCSPL in September 2027, Pacific FC believes that by supporting the early stages of development for players in this cohort, the better prepared they will be for the BCSPL level. Some 2014-born players might be invited to join the Pacific FC U14 teams even though they are a year younger; however this is not guaranteed and only will take place if it makes sense from a technical perspective.
2015/16 Born Players (U11/10)
For 2015-and 2016-born players, the Talent ID Pathway is an introductory step.
At this stage, players may not yet be thinking about Pacific FC Youth or BCSPL. This age group focuses on early identification, development, and exposure within a supportive environment.
Selected players will be invited to take part in a smaller-group version of the Pacific FC Youth ID Program, designed specifically for this age range. Players will continue to train and play with their home clubs, while Pacific FC works alongside local organizations to help develop the Island's future talent.
The Pacific FC Talent ID Pathway consists of two main streams (or programs) which are chronologically phased based on the age cohort.
