From Winnipeg to Vancouver: A Dream Reunited

Joseph Green and Nico Nadeau grew up playing soccer together in Winnipeg and now Vancouver FC has brought them back side by side. Green went third overall and Nadeau tenth in the CPL-U Sports Draft, giving the duo a chance to continue their journey at the professional level with The Eagles.

From early mornings at training to national championship battles in college, their hard work has paid off. Both now have a shot at a CPL-U Sports contract while keeping their university eligibility and they are ready to bring their chemistry to Vancouver’s preseason ahead of the 2026 season.
