Vancouver FC coach Afshin Ghotbi arrived in B.C. last year as one of the most experienced coaches in the country. Still, the Canadian Premier League taught him a thing or two, as he discussed in this interview with Charlie O’Connor-Clarke. Ghotbi went into detail on his philosophy in reshaping and strengthening his squad with primarily Vancouver-born players this year, and how a little more CPL experience might give VFC a boost in the club’s second season.
