April 30, 2025 – Toronto, ON – York United FC is proud to unveil its 2025 Summer Camps, an unforgettable opportunity for young soccer enthusiasts across the Greater Toronto Area to train like the pros, connect with their local professional club, and be part of something bigger than the game.
Taking place across four weekly sessions—July 7–11, July 14–18, July 21–25, and July 28–August 1—at York University Grass Field, these camps offer more than just elite-level instruction. They’re designed to ignite passion, build confidence, and foster a deep sense of belonging within our community. As Canada counts down to the historic 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted in part right here in Toronto, there’s no better time for young athletes to get inspired, stay active, and embrace their soccer journey.
Open to boys and girls ages 6–12 and 13–16, each week-long camp combines top-tier coaching, exciting activities, and exclusive York United FC experiences designed to inspire the next generation.
Two tailored programs:
Ages 5–9: Focused on fun, teamwork, and foundational skills. Through creative drills, games and movement-based activities, participants are introduced to the game in an engaging and supportive environment. The goal is to build confidence and love for the sport from an early age.
Ages 10–14: A more advanced program for players looking to sharpen their technique and game understanding. Sessions focus on skill development, tactical awareness, and fitness, all led by licensed coaches who bring a professional approach to the field.
Each camp week is a dynamic experience that includes:
-
Official York United FC camp shirt, shorts & merch
-
A personalized certificate of completion
-
A guided tour of First Team training sessions
-
Meet & greet opportunities with York United players and coaches
-
Two tickets to a York United FC home match
These camps go beyond the game. They give kids the chance to grow, build confidence, and enjoy new experiences in a fun and supportive setting. Whether your child is kicking a ball for the first time or aiming to improve their skills, they’ll find the right place here.
This initiative further reflects York United’s mission to grow the game at a grassroots level while staying true to the values of inclusivity, accessibility, and community pride. It’s a natural extension of the club’s ongoing efforts to connect with families, schools, and soccer lovers throughout the GTA.
“This is more than just football. It’s about identity, about local pride, and about dreaming big—right here in our own backyard,” said Eduardo Pasquel, Chief Executive Officer of York United FC. "The World Cup may be coming, but the future of Canadian soccer starts with programs like these."
