Toronto, ON – (July 2, 2025) – York United FC can confirm that defender Alexander Bergman has joined Estonian side Harju Jalgpallikool Laagri on loan through the end of the 2025 season.
Prior to finalizing the move, the club exercised the 2026 option on Bergman’s contract. He will now gain valuable experience in the Meistriliiga, Estonia’s top-tier league, where Harju Laagri is currently competing.
The six-month loan represents a key step in Bergman’s development, offering the 20-year-old consistent first-team opportunities in a competitive European environment.
Bergman remains under contract with York United FC through 2026, with an additional club option for 2027.
