Developing Canadian players of high-potential into future Cavalry FC players
About the Academy
Launching September 2, 2025, Cavalry FC’s fully funded academy offers a year round, immersive development experience for selected high-potential athletes. Players are identified through a rigorous scouting and evaluation process and receive annual academy agreements, running from September to August.
Objectives
- Establish a consistent pathway for academy graduates to earn opportunities and make meaningful contributions with Cavalry FC’s first team.
- Produce high-level talent capable of competing at the highest levels of professional football, both domestically and internationally.
- Equip all academy graduates with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to pursue football and education at the post-secondary level.
Player Development Approach
A comprehensive, professional environment focused on technical excellence, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental preparedness—mirroring the expectations of a CPL first-team player.

About Cavalry FC II
Previously known as Cavalry FC U21, Cavalry FC II is the club's official second team that was initially founded in May 2023 and competes in League1 Alberta.
Cavalry FC's Academy serves as the primary pathway to this team, and ultimately to the Cavalry FC first team.
Player Selection Process
Players are selected through Cavalry FC's Academy and scouting networks to join the Cavalry FC II squad during the summer season.
