The Cavalry FC Pathway is built on two pillars:

• Our High Performance Pathway, which develops elite talent for the next level, and
• Our Youth Soccer Programs, which introduces players to the game

About the High Performance Pathway

The High Performance Pathway begins with Cavalry FC's Academy. This academy competes as Cavalry FC II in League1 Alberta's regular season. During the off-season, it transitions into a full-time academy. From here, players can progress in two ways: some may move directly into our First Team, while others may choose the U Sports route, continuing their development at the university level with the opportunity to be drafted back into the First Team through the CPL-U Sports Draft.

About our Youth Soccer Programs

Our Youth Soccer Programs includes camps and skills centres. While these are not part of our High Performance structure, they play a vital role in growing the game and identifying future talent.

This structure reflects our commitment to both community engagement and elite player development — offering flexible, high- performance pathways for athletes to reach the professional level.
