Wanderers midfielder tallied 1 goal and 1 assist in Saturday's victory

Sean Rea was named the Canadian Premier League's player of the week following his standout performance in the Wanderers' 3-0 victory over Pacific on Saturday.

The attacking midfielder from Montreal was a constant threat to the Pacific backline, showcasing his creativity and proving instrumental in the victory with a goal and an assist.

Rea helped to open the scoring for Halifax just minutes after the halftime break. He dribbled past a defender and placed a perfectly weighted pass in the path of a charging Isaiah Johnston, who calmly chipped the ball over Pacific's goalkeeper.

Rea wasn't done yet. In the 69th minute, his shot from the top of the box deflected off Pacific defender Roshawn Juhmi, completely wrong-footing the goalkeeper and finding the back of the net.

Three Wanderers, including Rea, were named to the CPL Team of the Week for Week 24 with Isaiah Johnston and Jefferson Alphonse also earning selections.
