FC Supra du Québec today announced the addition of four more homegrown players — defenders Matisse Chrétien, Ismael Yeo and Thomas Lebeuf, along with midfielder Omar Elkalkouli — as the club continues to build momentum and move closer to completing its roster ahead of its first Canadian Premier League season in 2026.
Chrétien, Yeo and Lebeuf are the first defenders named to FC Supra’s inaugural roster, adding athleticism, versatility, and depth to the back line. Elkalkouli is another emerging presence in midfield, joining an area of the roster that already features a blend of experienced and up-and-coming talent.
“It’s exciting to see the roster really coming together, and it’s great to announce the first defenders to join FC Supra,” said Mateo Cabanettes, Sporting Director, FC Supra du Québec. “All four players add important qualities to the group and bring different experiences and skill sets, while sharing the competitiveness and work ethic we value as we finalize the squad.”
Contracts for Chrétien and Elkalkouli are guaranteed through 2026 with an option for 2027. Yeo and Lebeuf are signed through to 2027 with an option for 2028.
Chrétien, 22, progressed through CSBR (Alliance de Sorel-Tracy) and CS Saint-Hubert before continuing his development in sport-study programs at De Mortagne and Collège Français de Longueuil. He went on to further his development at Cégep Ahuntsic for three years. He later competed at the U SPORTS level in 2023, when he played at McGill University, before moving to NCAA Division 1 schools Green Bay University in 2024 and the University of San Francisco in 2025, where he played in every match. Chrétien also gained USL League Two experience in the United States with RKC Third Coast, and is expected to contribute pace and composure to the back line.
Yeo, 21, joins the club after developing within the Quebec youth and academy pathway. He began his football journey with FS Salaberry before joining CS Saint-Laurent at age 16, where he played a key role in the club capturing its first ever U17 National Championship title in 2022. He later continued his development within the CF Montréal pathway. Yeo is known for his leadership, game intelligence, and ability to control tempo.
Lebeuf, 19, began his development in Trois-Rivières before spending five years in Montreal, where he emerged as a standout with the U-17 CS Mont-Royal Outremont (CSMRO) Griffons, helping the club capture a league title and compete at the national level. He later continued his development in the NCAA with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) before returning to Quebec.
Elkalkouli joins FC Supra after developing through the CSMRO and CF Montréal Academy pathways and played with the Nomades de Montmorency before gaining international experience in Portugal. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder competed at the U19 National 2 level with Lank FC Vilaverdense before returning to Quebec, where he has featured in Ligue1 Québec, represented the Université de Montréal Carabins, and played futsal with Sporting Club MTL. Known for his creativity and influence in the final third, Elkalkouli adds another emerging option to the midfield group.
Additional roster announcements will follow in the coming days as FC Supra builds momentum toward its CPL debut season.
