Forge FC midfielder Kyle Bekker has been named the Canadian Premier League's Player of the Month for July 2025.
Bekker started all four of Forge's matches during the month, wins against Vancouver FC, Pacific FC and the Halifax Wanderers, and a draw with Atlético Ottawa. He scored in that draw in the capital, adding an assist against Halifax.
The Forge captain also created a team-leading 11 chances during the month, and won possession 22 times, also the most among all Forge players, while completing 87.6 per cent of his passes.
He is the second consecutive Forge player to earn Player of the Month honours, after defender Dan Nimick won it for June. Atlético Ottawa duo David Rodríguez (April) and Sam Salter (May), are the other recipients for 2025.
