A Canadian youth international with plenty of potential, full-back Christian Greco-Taylor continued to progress his all-round game in his second season on the Island.
The 20-year-old from Calgary appeared in 24 of the Tridents' 28 matches this season, contributing a career-high three assists and earning a place in the CPL's Next Gen class of 2025 presented by Jones Deslauriers | Navacord.
What initially sets Greco-Taylor apart is his on-ball ability. Coming through the Whitecaps system as a midfielder, he has since transitioned to full-back after joining Pacific in 2024. He has adapted to that newer role incredibly well, using his on-ball abilities to make progressive movements, whether that is through passes or dribbling.
Getting up and down the line well, he was one of the CPL's league leaders in open play crosses this season, continously delivering dangerous balls into the box.
Where Greco-Taylor showed the most growth this past season, however, is on the defensive side of the ball. He won a solid 61.8 per cent of the 136 duels he contested this season. With good anticipation and positioning, he is developing into a solid one-v-one defender.
On a Pacific team looking to get back to their former heights in 2026, Greco-Taylor will be a crucial piece of that puzzle.
