Pacific FC Youth is proud to bring our Pacific FC Youth Development Program (YDP) to Ladysmith this fall, offering U7-U15 athletes the chance to train, grow, and have fun while developing their soccer skills.
Starting September 12th, players will take part in eight weekly training sessions on Friday's from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Forrest Field. The program focuses on fostering technical ability, confidence, and creativity in a fun and inclusive environment, ensuring every participant feels supported while learning the game.
Leading the program will be Bill Merriman, former Head Coach of the Vancouver Island Univerisity Mariners who brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the program. During his time as a Head Coach, Merriman earned recognition as 2011 Canadian Colleigate Athletic Association (CCAA) Coach of the Year, 2015 British Columbia Colleges Athletic Association (BCCAA) Coach of the Year, and 2015 BC Soccer Youth Coach of the Year.
