The Gatorade Team of the Week for the twenty-seventh week of Canadian Premier League action in 2025, brought to you by OneSoccer.

2025 Team of the Week

Goalkeeper

Callum Irving (Vancouver FC)

Irving makes it into the Team of the Week in back-to-back matchweeks, after a clean sheet against Atlético Ottawa. He made three saves in the performance, including one crucial stop on David Rodríguez late in the game.

Defenders

Adam Pearlman (Halifax Wanderers)

Halifax's right-back was outstanding in the wing-back job against Valour. He scored the opening goal by making a well-timed run into the box, and also made two interceptions and six clearances as the Wanderers had to weather some serious pressure.

Alexander Achinioti-Jönsson (Forge FC)

Forge's versatile Swede did a good job in a hybrid role against Cavalry, stepping into midfield in possession to help create overloads. He won seven out of 10 duels and drew five fouls.

Allan Enyou (Vancouver FC)

Enyou did a lot to stifle Ottawa's high-flying attack on Sunday, anchoring Vancouver's backline to a clean sheet in the capital. He made eight recoveries and four clearances, all while marking the league's most dangerous goalscorer Sam Salter.

Brett Levis (Atlético Ottawa)

Levis started on the left of Ottawa's back three and did a lot of defensive work, winning 12 out of 14 duels (and seven of seven aerials). He made three tackles, two interceptions and two clearances, all while maintaining a 91.4 passing accuracy.

Kareem Sow (Halifax Wanderers)

Deputizing at left wing-back with Wesley Timoteo suspended, Sow was excellent for Halifax against Valour. Playing a more advanced role than he's used to, he created two chances (including an assist on Isaiah Johnston's goal). He also made two tackles and won possession in the final third once.

Midfielders

Isaiah Johnston (Halifax Wanderers)

In a crucial away game for Halifax, Johnston was at his very best. He scored one for the Wanderers in a 3-0 win, finishing with three shots, 10 recoveries, and a 92.9 per cent passing accuracy.

Kembo Kibato (York United)

Kibato's energy and determination carried York to a comeback against Pacific. He won nine duels, and made six interceptions and three tackles, stopping the Tridents in their tracks as often as he could.

Forwards

Marco Bustos (Pacific FC)

Bustos finally scored his first goal of the season in a great performance against York United. He unleashed his trademark left-footed curler early in the first half en route to a 2-2 draw.

Alejandro Díaz (Pacific FC)

Díaz scored Pacific's other goal in their draw against York, and played an important role in their attacking play with his pressing and running.

Sergio Camargo (Cavalry FC)

Camargo was the standout Cavs player in their 1-1 draw with Forge, showing off his quick thinking to score his side's goal. He also made a team-high 15 passes in the final third.
